BERKELEY COLLEGE RANKED AMONG BEST REGIONAL COLLEGES IN THE NORTH AND A TOP PERFORMER FOR SOCIAL MOBILITYBY U.S. NEWS & WORLD REPORT


For the second consecutive year, U.S. News & World Report named Berkeley College New Jersey one of the Best Regional Colleges in the North in its 2022 edition of the Best Colleges Survey. Berkeley College New Jersey was also recognized for the first time as a Top Performer on Social Mobility among Colleges in the region.

The publication ranked 1,466 colleges and universities nationwide. Berkeley College New Jersey was named No. 32 out of 57 schools on the Best Regional Colleges – North list and No. 29 out of 48 schools on the Best Regional Colleges – North, Top Performers on Social Mobility lists. The North region includes colleges from the following states: Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Vermont. In New Jersey, 16 institutions were acknowledged in the Best Regional Colleges – North and Best Regional Universities – North categories. U.S. News & World Report evaluates schools on up to 17 measures of academic quality including graduation, retention and affordability.
