BOGOTA PRESS CAFÉ EYES FALL OPENING AT THE ATWATER IN THIS BERGEN COUNTY BOROUGH
BOGOTA, N.J – An award-winning restaurateur is set to bring an exciting new food and beverage concept to Bogota, NJ with the fall opening of a neighborhood café at The Atwater, the luxury waterfront rental community located at 1000 West Fort Lee Road along the banks of the Hackensack River.
Bogota Press, a casual new café from local residents and owners Sherry and Eric Solomov, will occupy ground floor retail space at The Atwater. Offering a modern aesthetic with a retro twist, the new café has been designed to foster social interaction among patrons with communal tables, outdoor seating, and a welcoming environment.
The café will also pursue civic-minded partnerships with neighborhood organizations to provide youth employment opportunities and nurture entrepreneurial skills, according to Mrs. Solomov. What’s more, the owners are preparing to create a scholarship program for well performing local students.
Bogota Press will utilize locally sourced ingredients and partner with local vendors and premium brands from around the region to offer a comprehensive menu. Healthy breakfast items will be complemented by Italian illy coffee prepared by classically trained Baristas, fresh bread will be delivered daily from iconic bakery Balthazar, pressed sandwiches including signature stuffed grilled cheese sandwiches will embody the café’s take on comfort food, and hand-made, mouth-watering desserts from artisan bakery Pâtisserie Florentine will indulge any sweet tooth.
“Bogota Press is truly about food, community and creating a sense of togetherness,” said Mrs. Solomov, who previously owned the acclaimed Brooklyn Burgers & Beer restaurant in Park Slope, Brooklyn with her husband Eric Solomov. “We’re blending innovative specialty coffees and delicious comfort food with a trendy-but-approachable atmosphere that can be enjoyed here or on the go. We hope to be an anchor for the community, providing a comfortable gathering place that brings back human interaction while also participating with local organizations and supporting our customer base. In short, we’re looking to be an active and contributing member of the community.”
Bogota Press Café will open its doors within The Atwater, where over 80% of its upscale homes have already been leased, according to its developer PCD Development. Atwater residents will be able to utilize a custom app to order and pay in advance for food items that will be ready when they arrive.
“We’re excited to welcome Bogota Press to The Atwater and are proud to work with an ownership group that cares deeply about our residents and members of the community,” said Jonathan Stein, Founder and Managing Member of PCD Development. “This will be a tremendous asset to our residents who will have direct access to an exceptional eatery that has great food and allows them to integrate into the local environment and feel at home in Bogota.”
The Atwater boasts a mix of one and two-bedroom apartments, each with a private balcony or patio, and a full suite of resort-like amenities. Monthly rents start in the $2,200s. Limited time incentives are currently being offered, including up to two months free on a 26-month lease. Immediate occupancy is available.
Enhancing resident life at The Atwater is 20,000 square-feet of resort-inspired outdoor amenities which include a magnificent pool, expansive sun deck, cabanas, and sunbathing/yoga lawn. There’s also an outdoor work-from-home space, fire pits, dining area with four BBQ grills and an approximately 2,000-foot-long riverfront walkway which will meander along the Hackensack River. What’s more, a resident-only outdoor theater is in the works.
