HARRISON URBY TO ADD 381 NEW UNITS, FULL SIZE INDOOR BASKETBALL COURT, AND CAFÉ THIS FALL

New phase of Harrison Urby will include Brand New Apartments and Exciting New Elements Close to the PATH Station

HARRISON, NJ, September 27, 2021 – The newest addition to the Urby family will arrive this fall when leasing officially launches for the new phase of Harrison Urby, the wildly-popular residential community known for its innovatively-designed apartments, abundant indoor and outdoor social spaces, and an ultra-convenient location near the Harrison PATH station with service to Manhattan, Jersey City and Newark.

The new Harrison Urby, located at 200 Angelo Cifelli Drive, continues to build on Urby’s transformative residential concept with 381 new apartments and new design elements and amenities. Urby will complement the host of amenities and spaces offered to current residents of the 679 units just across Angelo Cifelli Drive at 777 S 3rd Street.

“We’re looking forward to expanding Harrison Urby which has meaningfully connected with residents since we first opened our doors in 2017,” said David Barry, CEO of Urby. “Demand for new modern living options in Harrison, New Jersey’s fastest growing municipality, is on the rise with more residents seeking apartments near the PATH as they return to the office and units with space to work remote when needed. The new building will meet that demand while continuing to provide lively social spaces to bring together our residents and the neighborhood.”

A highlight of Harrison Urby’s collection of apartments will be a new studio apartment design that includes a built-in platform bed and airy wood-slat partitions to create more privacy while allowing in ample, natural light. With the new building, Harrison Urby will offer a collection of studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom layouts. Each apartment features large windows to maximize natural light, built-in closets with drawers for storage, and sustainable flooring. With smart technology systems, including keyless smart phone entry and Amazon package lockers, residents at Harrison Urby have unprecedented access to mobile connectivity. Harrison Urby is only one block from the Harrison PATH Station and just 20 minutes from Lower Manhattan.

Residents with flexible work schedules will be able to work from The Study, a new space Urby is developing. Located adjacent to the community’s new all-day cafe, The Study will offer residents dedicated work areas that make it easy to grab a coffee and snack while prepping for their next big meeting.

When not working, residents will be able to take their hoops skills to the hardwood with the addition of a full-size basketball court within a new fitness center, enhancing Harrison Urby’s already impressive amenity offerings. Urby will also be home to the brand new, modern, European-inspired all-day cafe, Charley. Charley will be a cozy, social space with a lively, yet relaxed atmosphere for coffee to cocktails with a menu featuring comfort foods like weiner schnitzel, burgers, and apple strudel.

Designed by Amsterdam-based firm Concrete, best known for the designs of citizenM Hotels around the world, Harrison Urby features a series of buildings that are connected by beautifully landscaped green spaces with lush lawns and walkways designed by Bureau Bas Smets. Current residents of Urby enjoy a community garden with individual vegetable garden plots, a heated swimming pool and patio, fire pits, BBQ grills, lounge furniture and lawn games. The pet-friendly community features Urby’s Woofgarden dog run for a little pup playtime. There’s also the Urby Kitchen, a rentable chef’s kitchen used to host food events, and a two-story 6,000 square foot fitness center. For a convenient caffeine fix and other treats, residents and the public alike enjoy an onsite café, a warm and inviting space which contains a 30-foot treehouse library and Steinway baby grand piano.  Harrison Urby residents will be able to access amenities in all buildings.

The newest phase of Harrison Urby will be located at 200 Angelo Cifelli Drive. For more information and to get on the waitlist for the new building, contact our leasing team at www.urby.com/harrison.
