BERGEN COUNTY VACCINATION CENTER NOW OFFERING ALL COVID-19 BOOSTER SHOTS
Moderna, Johnson & Johnson/Janssen booster shots now available in addition to Pfizer
Bergen County Vaccination Center to host special hours today and tomorrow – Walk in appointments welcome.
PARAMUS, NJ – The County of Bergen in partnership with Bergen New Bridge Medical Center announces that starting today, Friday, October 22, the Bergen County Vaccination Center will begin offering booster shots of all three available COVID-19 vaccines. As per CDC guidance, the following groups are eligible for a booster shot at 6 months or more after their initial series of the Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna COVID-19 vaccine:
· 65 years and older
· Age 18+ who live in long-term care settings
· Age 18+ who have underlying medical conditions
· Age 18+ who work or live in high-risk settings
For individuals who received the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine, booster shots are also recommended for those who are 18 and older and were vaccinated two or more months ago.
The Bergen County Vaccination Center is hosting special hours today, Friday October 22 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. and tomorrow Saturday, October 23 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for booster shots. Boosters will also be available during normal operating hours Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The Bergen County Vaccination Center also continues to offer all three COVID-19 vaccines to those who have yet to receive a first dose. The Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine is available to anyone age 12 or older and the Moderna and Johnson & Johnson/Janssen vaccines are available to anyone age 18 or older. Bergen County health officials strongly urge all who are eligible to receive their vaccines as the more contagious Delta variant is responsible for 99% of COVID cases.

For appointment visit BergenCovidVaccine.com. Walk ins are also welcome. All vaccine recipients must show proof of age, and those ages 12-17 should be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Vaccine recipients must live, work or attend school in New Jersey.
