SERVICE ADVISORY: NY WATERWAY’S CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY SCHEDULE

Only service between Port Imperial and Midtown on Christmas Eve, no service on Christmas Day.
NY Waterway will operate a modified weekday service on Christmas Eve (Friday, December 24) and will not operate service on Christmas Day (Saturday, December 25).

Modified December 24 Service:

Only one route, Port Imperial to Midtown/West 39th Street will operate. Ferries will depart every 20 minutes, with the first ferry from Port Imperial departing at 9am and the last ferry returning from Midtown departing at 4:50pm.

NY Waterway shuttle bus service will run on its 42nd Street and  57th Street Midtown routes between 9:10am and 4:30pm.

Kids Ride Free for the Holidays will continue through Sunday, January 2, 2022. Kids under 12 can ride on NY Waterway’s ferries for free on all routes. The ticketing policy for the service is: 2 children are permitted to ride free per each paying adult rider

NY Waterway offers spacious terminals, fresh air cabins and open-air decks on its ferries. Masks are required in all indoor spaces and all facilities and boats are frequently sanitized.

NY Waterway Modified Holiday Schedules

On Friday, December 24, the Port Imperial to Midtown service will be the only ferry route in service, from 9:00 AM to 4:50 PM, with modified bus services.

On Saturday, December 25, there will be no ferry or bus services.
