BERKELEY COLLEGE ANNOUNCES DIVERSITY, EQUITY AND INCLUSION CERTIFICATE PROGRAM TO HELP ORGANIZATIONS STRENGTHEN DEI MANAGEMENT AND LEADERSHIP SKILLS

Spring Registration Now Open

As part of its Continuing Education initiative, Berkeley College will offer a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Certificate for professionals seeking to develop diverse teams and foster an inclusive culture. “Creating a climate where employees feel supported is vital to the success of any company,” said Maria Rivera, Director, Continuing Education, Berkeley College. “Through the Berkeley College DEI Certificate, professionals will learn various strategies to manage organizational bias, create an equitable workforce and foster intercultural communication – the skills that organizations are looking for in 2022 and beyond.”

The DEI Certificate offers the following key takeaways:

Builds awareness of the current legal and societal DEI background.

Provides employees with DEI skill sets in the areas of management and leadership.

Provides employees with DEI strategies related to building their own diverse, equitable and inclusive teams.

Teaches strategies to employees to serve as DEI advocates within their organization.
