CarePlus NJ Honors Bergen County Executive Tedesco for Long-Term Support of Fire Prevention and Education Program

On April 20, 2022, CarePlus NJ and the Bergen County Juvenile Fire Prevention Program (BCJFPP) presented Bergen County Executive Jim Tedesco with an award of appreciation for his continued support and dedication to youth fire prevention and education.

Tedesco has been a supporter of the BCJFPP for over 30 years, which CarePlus NJ established in 1987 to address accidental and intentional fire-setting behavior in children and adolescents.

For over 30 years, the BCJFPP has provided more than 2,000 children aged 18 and under and their families with community education, prevention, fire setting assessments, individual and group education sessions, and if necessary, clinical services.
