EIGHTYTWENTY SMASH HEADS TO PASSAIC COUNTY GRAB SOME BURGERS AND ENJOY GHOST HAWK BEERS

CLIFTON, NJ — eightytwenty smash, the smash burger pop-up and catering brand, is heading to Passaic County. They’ll be outside Ghost Hawk Brewing Co (321 River Road, Unit 6, Clifton, NJ) on Friday, May 13th from 5:00pm till 8:30pm.

Their smashers (i.e. burgers) are crafted using a custom Prime blend that’s pasture-raised and 100% hormone/antibiotic free from beef purveyor New York Valley Wagyu. The meat is smashed on a griddle with onions — then topped with yellow American cheese, homemade Mandy sauce and served on a Martin's Slider Potato Roll.

To purchase smashers for this popup, guests will order through an advance ticketing system. eightytwenty will offer ticket holders a SMASHBOX — six pack of smashers with a single order of fries — for pickup within their chosen time slot. Tickets will be sold online for pre-order at their website http://eightytwentysmash.com.

As ALWAYS, guests can get their burgers to go, take them into the brewery and enjoy them with a beer, and/or eat them right away… forcing them to order more immediately.

eightytwenty smash is a restaurant popup and caterer that focuses on serving high quality burgers, fries and more.

It launched during the COVID-19 pandemic in early 2021, while co-founder Matthew Borgersen was on hiatus as Executive Chef at Caffe Anello in Westwood.

Having worked in kitchens since he was a teenager, the Westwood native grew up in the shadows of numerous famous slider joints. eightytwenty smash is an homage to those burgers, his own interpretation of a true North Jersey classic.

eightytwenty smash has hosted popups in many popular restaurant kitchens across North Jersey and New York, while expanding to offer private parties, community events, and restaurant collabs.
