LAW ENFORCEMENT TORCH RUN BENEFITING SPECIAL OLYMPICS NEW YORK COMES TO WESTCHESTER COUNTY FRIDAY


New Rochelle, NY – The Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) will pass through Westchester County on Friday, May 6th, as the Flame of Hope makes its way around the state in support of Special Olympics New York.

LETR is a time-honored Special Olympics tradition of more than 30 years, led and orchestrated by the “Guardians of the Flame,” which include members of law enforcement personnel from agencies throughout New York. Together with local athletes and supporters, LETR representatives raise funds and awareness for Special Olympics New York.

Members of local law enforcement and Special Olympics athletes will participate at the following five starting times and locations:

8:15am: New Rochelle PD Headquarters, 475 North Ave.

8:30am: Yonkers 3rd Pct. on Riverdale Ave.

11:15am: New Rochelle PD Headquarters, 475 North Ave.

2:00pm: New Rochelle PD Headquarters, 475 North Ave.

3:30pm: Table 9 Restaurant / Annsville Circle
