Bergen New Bridge Medical Center to Sponsor October Blood Drive
Community members are encouraged to donate much-needed blood
(Paramus, NJ) Bergen New Bridge Medical Center working with its partner Vitalant is responding to the urgent need for blood within our community by hosting a blood drive on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Vaccination Annex location.
“Blood supplies remain critically low, and we encourage our community to join our many staff members who will be donating blood during our drive,” said Bergen New Bridge President and CEO, Deborah Visconi. “Every donation saves lives, and it will take all of us working together to make sure we have sufficient supplies for those in need.”
The first 50 donors will receive appreciation gifts and light refreshments will be served throughout the event. Donors must weigh at least 110 pounds, eat a meal before donating, bring identification and drink plenty of water both before and after donating.
Appointments are strongly recommended and can be scheduled by calling 1.877.258.4825 or by using this link – https://donor.cbsblood.org/donor/schedules/drive_schedule/55342.
