Valley Home Care Launches New Bereavement Support Group Geared Toward Partner Loss

RIDGEWOOD, NJ, January 10, 2023 – Valley Home Care has started a new, virtual bereavement support and discussion group for those who have experienced the loss of a partner within the last 12 months. The group is called “New Beginnings.”

“New Beginnings” will meet four times a year, with the first session being held on Monday, February 13 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. It will take place virtually via Microsoft Teams. Future meetings will be held in May, August, and November.

“This group is designed to offer meaningful conversation as we explore this unique loss and how it shapes our lives,” said group leader Carley Anne Tsaglos, LSW. “Our goal is to help foster a connection with others, decrease isolation, and speak freely.”

Carley Anne is a licensed social worker and seasoned group facilitator. Group work has been her focus for the last 25 years, and she specializes in topics related to illness, loss, and bereavement. Carley Anne received her Master of Social Work from New York University in New York, NY.

New Beginnings is open to individuals of all ages who have experienced the loss of a partner. Space is limited.
