Holy Week and Easter at West Side Presbyterian Church
RIDGEWOOD – All Holy Week and Easter Sunday services at West Side Presbyterian Church will take place both in person and via livestream at www.westside.org and www.youtube.com/c/westsidepres. Join us!
Palm Sunday - April 2
Pre-K to 7th grade children are invited to join the special Palm Sunday procession at the 9:00 am or 10:30 am service. To participate in this beloved West Side tradition, please arrive 15 minutes before the start of the service to receive your palms. Parents, you are welcome to process with your young ones!
Maundy Thursday - April 6
Maundy Thursday is believed to be the day when Jesus celebrated his final Passover with his disciples. We’ll gather for worship in the sanctuary at 7:30 pm.
Good Friday - April 7
On Good Friday, we remember Jesus’ suffering and death on the cross as the ultimate sacrifice for our sins. Join us in the sanctuary for a Service of Tenebrae at 8:00 pm. Please note: From noon to 3:00 pm the labyrinth will be available to walk as part of your Good Friday reflections.
Easter Sunday - April 17
Bring the whole family to celebrate our risen Lord at 9:00 am (Contemporary Worship) or 11:00 am (Traditional Worship)! We encourage children of all ages to join us in the sanctuary. Alternatively, infants and toddlers are lovingly cared for in our nursery, and Pre-K to third graders are invited to participate in a special children’s worship service in the chapel with Rev. Christine Park, pastoral associate for children and families.
