STRIVE Day Program Hosts Art Show
May 2, 2023 – (Paramus, NJ) Children’s Aid and Family Services, a Paramus-based non-profit human services agency, hosted an art show featuring works created by members of the STRIVE Day Program for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Paul Aronsohn, the NJ State Ombudsman for people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, cut the ribbon to open the show. A quartet string ensemble of students from Cresskill High School played classical music as guests entered.
"The art show provided the members of STRIVE with a unique opportunity to showcase their creative expression and abilities as well as engage with the community,” says Shavonda E. Sumter, President and CEO. “I am grateful to Paul Aronsohn for his leadership and for helping to make this event even more special.”
