NJ Sharing Network and American Red Cross Join Forces for Life-saving Blood Drive on October 3 in New Providence
All Blood Donors Will Receive a $15 Amazon E-Gift Card
(New Providence, NJ) - NJ Sharing Network is proud to announce a partnership with the American Red Cross to host a life-saving Blood Drive on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, at NJ Sharing Network's headquarters, located at 691 Central Avenue, New Providence, NJ. This collaborative initiative is a direct response to a blood shortage currently affecting New Jersey after a summer of declining donations.
“At NJ Sharing Network, we take immense pride in our commitment to supporting our local communities. We believe that addressing urgent needs and exemplifying the spirit of neighborly care and compassion is at the heart of our mission,” said Carolyn M. Welsh, President and CEO, NJ Sharing Network. “We urge our community to participate in our upcoming Blood Drive. Every blood donation can save a life and help ensure trauma patients, those undergoing cancer treatment, and people with lifelong blood disorders can get the blood they count on.”
To further encourage donations, the American Red Cross will provide each blood donor with a $15 Amazon.com E-Gift Card.
