SERVICE ADVISORY: NY WATERWAY’S 2024 NEW YEAR HOLIDAY SCHEDULES

Limited service on New Year’s Day
NY Waterway will operate a modified weekend schedule on New Year’s Eve (Sunday, December 31) and New Years Day (Monday, January 1). 

Modified December 31 Service:

Services from Weehawken/Port Imperial to Midtown/West 39th street will operate every 20 minutes, with the first ferry departing from Port Imperial at 8am and the last ferry from Midtown departing at 2:10am.

Services from Lincoln Harbor & Hoboken 14th Street to Midtown/West 39th street will operate every 20 minutes, with the first ferry departing from Lincoln Harbor at 8:55am and from Hoboken 14th Street at 9:02am, and the last ferry from Midtown departing at 8:10pm.

Services from Hoboken to Brookfield Place will operate every 30 minutes, with the first ferry departing from Hoboken at 10am and the last ferry departing from Brookfield Place at 5pm.

Services from Paulus Hook to Brookfield Place will operate every 30 minutes with the first ferry departing from Paulus Hook at 10:10am and the last ferry departing from Brookfield Place at 5pm.

NY Waterway NYC Shuttle Bus Service will run from 8:10am - 6:50pm, with the last return bus departing at 6:10pm.

NJ Shuttle Bus will not operate. 

Modified January 1 Service:

Services from Weehawken/Port Imperial to Midtown/West 39th street will operate every 20 minutes, with the first ferry departing from Port Imperial at 10am and the last ferry from Midtown departing at 8:10pm.

Services from Lincoln Harbor & Hoboken 14th Street to Midtown/West 39th street will operate every 20 minutes, with the first ferry departing from Lincoln Harbor at 9:55am and from Hoboken 14th Street at 10:02am and the last ferry from Midtown departing at 7:50pm.

NY Waterway NYC Shuttle Bus Service will run from 10:10am - 8:10pm, with the last return bus departing at 7:30pm.

Paulus Hook/Brookfield Place ferries will not operate

NJ shuttle bus will not operate.

Kids Ride Free for the Holidays will continue through Monday, January 1, 2024. Kids under 12 can ride on NY Waterway’s ferries for free on all routes. The ticketing policy for the free service is: two children are permitted to ride free per each paying adult rider.
