Valley Welcomes New Director of General Outpatient Pediatrics for Valley Medical Group
RIDGEWOOD, NJ, May 13, 2024 – Valley Health System is pleased to announce the appointment of Shivani Shah, MD, to the position of Director of General Outpatient Pediatrics for Valley Medical Group.
Dr. Shah is board certified in pediatrics. She specializes in pediatric primary care with a focus on preventive medicine, child development, and managing common childhood diseases. She is passionate about providing comprehensive care from infancy through adolescence, with specific interests in childhood asthma and obesity.
“As a pediatric medical director, I am deeply committed to promoting the health and welfare of children within our community,” said Dr. Shah. “I am eager to collaborate with my colleagues to implement innovative strategies that enhance patient care and work to improve outcomes. Dr. Shah received her medical degree from K.J. Somaiya Medical College and Research Centre in Mumbai, India. She completed a pediatric residency at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, New Jersey, and has done a fellowship in pediatric hematology and oncology at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania.
