Rotary Bellringers Ring in Hope Across New Jersey for The Salvation Army

Union, NJ – Rotary Clubs across New Jersey joined forces with The Salvation Army for an inspiring event, the inaugural “Rotary Day of Ringing.” On December 19, Rotarians from numerous clubs gathered to ring kettles, helping to raise vital funds for Salvation Army programs that support individuals and families in need throughout the year.

In addition to December 19th’s focused effort, many Rotary Clubs volunteered on additional days, demonstrating their deep commitment to the mission of The Salvation Army. Participating clubs included Asbury Park, Bridgeton, Camden, Moorestown, Morristown, Trenton, Princeton Junction, Robbinsville, Montgomery, Plainsboro, Madison, and New Brunswick – with each club contributing to the spirit of the season.

“The Salvation Army is grateful to have steadfast friends in civic organizations like Rotary, who are always ready to lend a helping hand,” said Bill Cleave, the organizer of the event and a member of The Salvation Army New Jersey Division’s State Advisory Board. “These partnerships are vital to our mission. Without such strong relationships, we wouldn’t be able to provide essential services to our friends and neighbors in need.”

The funds raised during the Red Kettle Campaign allow The Salvation Army to bring joy to children with holiday gifts they might otherwise miss, while also offering essential support such as food, shelter, and utility assistance throughout the year.

To help ensure that The Salvation Army can continue to provide vital services, supporters can donate online at www.SalvationArmyNJ.org. Every donation provides help and hope to those in need, and all gifts stay within the community in which they are given.
