Valley Health System Opens Inpatient Recovery and Wellness Unit for Withdrawal Management
PARAMUS, NJ, February 4, 2025 – Valley Health System is proud to offer treatment for substance use disorder through specialized withdrawal management, often referred to as detoxification or detox, at its dedicated Recovery and Wellness Unit.
This program provides a supportive environment for individuals to begin their recovery journey. Designed to prioritize safety, comfort, and personalized care, the program helps set the foundation for a healthier and more fulfilling life.
“Withdrawal from substances like alcohol, opioids, or even certain medications can pose serious risks, particularly if attempted suddenly or without proper supervision,” said Christopher Rusk, LSW, LCADC, Manager of the Recovery and Wellness Unit at Valley Health System. “Our specialized unit provides expert, compassionate care, ensuring that individuals can navigate this critical phase of recovery with the support they need.”
