The Travel & Adventure Show Series Concludes the 2025 Season with a Record-Breaking Year
New York (April 17, 2025) - The Travel & Adventure Show Series concluded its 2025 season last month, with America’s Favorite Travel Show visiting nine cities, including Atlanta, New York, Chicago, Phoenix, Los Angeles, Denver, Dallas, the Bay Area, and Washington, D.C. Featuring hundreds of exhibitors, an incredible lineup of travel experts, and fantastic programming across markets catering to various travel niches, the 2025 series proved to be another massive year for travel inspiration.
This year’s show saw record attendance as U.S. travelers signaled they will continue to prioritize the experience of traveling and seeing the world.
The Atlanta Travel & Adventure Show took the Georgia International Convention Center by storm, drawing thousands of eager attendees to the newly opened venue for an unforgettable weekend of adventure, starting off with an ice storm in the Atlanta metro area. With more than 250 exhibitors showcasing the best in travel, attendees were thrilled by the wealth of options available. A standout at the event was the hugely popular Official Passport Program, run by the Atlanta Passport Office and the Department of State, offering an exclusive chance for visitors to quickly and easily submit passport applications on the spot—making travel dreams come true faster than ever!
The New York Travel & Adventure Show welcomed another blow out year at the Javits Convention Center with more than 23,000 travel enthusiasts flooding in to experience the ultimate in travel inspiration. Featuring over 550 exhibitors and electrifying keynote sessions from the legendary Pauline Frommer and Phil Keoghan, the event was packed with excitement. One of the standout attractions was the expanded LGBTQ+ Travel Pavilion, sponsored by I LOVE NY, making this year’s show a true celebration of all things travel.
Chicago’s only and longest-running travel show brought unparalleled excitement to the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center this year, with over 17,000 attendees and 450 exhibitors coming together for a weekend of travel magic. Headlined by the ever-charismatic Andrew McCarthy, and with the Croatian National Tourist Office as the Official Country Partner, this year’s show was bigger and better than ever before. From inspiring keynotes to an array of travel experiences, attendees left brimming with adventure ideas.
Building on the excitement of its inaugural event in 2024, the Phoenix Travel & Adventure Show returned to the Phoenix Convention Center for another successful year. Over 7,000 attendees were greeted by over 250 exhibitors from both local and international destinations, including Major Sponsors Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma and Celebrity Cruises. The weekend was packed with thrilling experiences, including inspiring keynotes by travel legends Peter Greenberg and Kathy McCabe, as well as an all star panel featuring Angel Castellanos, Lee Abbamonte and Sarah Dandashy.
Celebrating its monumental 20th year, the Los Angeles Travel & Adventure Show reached new heights with over 20,000 attendees and a record-breaking 450 exhibitors at the Los Angeles Convention Center. The excitement was palpable as Josh Gates, Host and Executive Producer of Discovery Channel’s Expedition Unknown, and Pauline Frommer of Frommer’s Guidebooks took the stage, offering insider travel tips and thrilling stories. With global sponsors like Visit Brasil, Tourism Authority of Thailand, and the Japan National Tourist Organization (JNTO), the show’s energy was electric. And for the adrenaline junkies, a rock wall sponsored by Visit Yosemite Madera County added an extra thrill to the action-packed weekend
The Denver Travel & Adventure Show was a massive hit, drawing over 11,000 attendees to the Colorado Convention Center for a weekend packed with travel wonder. With more than 250 exhibitors, including top sponsors like Celebrity Cruises and Go Touch Down Travel & Tours, attendees had access to an inspiring array of destinations and experiences. Packed sessions at the Travel Theater featured renowned speakers like Chris Burkard, Pauline Frommer, and Peter Greenberg, offering insider tips and a vision of the world’s most awe-inspiring places.
The Bay Area Travel & Adventure Show at the Santa Clara Convention Center saw more than 12,000 attendees flocking to explore over 350 exhibitors and uncover hidden gems from around the globe. With stellar keynote speakers including Peter Greenberg, Rick Steves, Chris Burkard, and Russell Hannon, attendees were treated to an exceptional lineup of travel experts. Guests had the chance to learn more about standout sponsors like Taiwan, Viking River Cruises, and Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma, while discovering new ways to fuel their wanderlust.
The Dallas Travel & Adventure Show wowed over 8,000 attendees at the Dallas Market Hall, where they explored over 250 exhibitors and engaged with the Official Booking Partner, AAA, and Show Sponsors Branson Missouri, and Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma. With exciting giveaways, exclusive travel deals, and the chance to meet experts from around the world, attendees were swept away by the excitement. This show was all about making travel dreams come true, with visitors leaving inspired and ready to plan their next adventure.
The Washington DC Travel & Adventure Show closed out the season welcoming over 11,000 attendees and showcasing more than 350 exhibitors at the Washington Convention Center. With Northern Outer Banks Tourism serving as the Official Photo Booth Sponsor, the event offered an exciting mix of attractions, including the return of the popular LGBTQ+ Pavilion and the Dive & Water Sports Pavilion. This dynamic finale marked a spectacular end to an unforgettable year for the Travel & Adventure Show Series.
