Healthy Bergen, Powered By The Community Health Improvement Partnership (CHIP), Hosts Get Fit Classes in Bergen County

Hackensack, N.J. (May 05, 2025) — Healthy Bergen, powered by the Community Health Improvement Partnership (CHIP), is pleased to announce the 2025 spring schedule for free yoga and fitness classes for Bergen County residents ages 18 and older throughout May and June in collaboration with the Bergen County Department of Parks, Bergen County Department of Health Services, Englewood Health, Bergen New Bridge Medical Center and The Valley Hospital.

Beginner and intermediate level yoga classes are hosted at Overpeck Park from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Tuesdays, Moderate and advanced yoga classes are offered at Riverside County Park from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Wednesdays, and functional fitness classes are hosted at Van Saun County Park from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Thursdays. Classes are free and open to the Bergen County public. Registration is not required, but preferred, and can be done online at https://www.healthybergen.org/getfit. If the class is full, walk-ins are welcome.

Class includes a range of workouts, including stretching, body weight resistance, calisthenics, and aerobic movements
