NJBIZ is a statewide business publication.
In the words of NJBIZ, “honorees are all well-known and respected by their colleagues, their peers, and in many cases, their patients. The work they do, sometimes behind the scenes or away from the public eye, is critical to advancing the industry and its various professions.”
As Vice President for Information Systems and CIO, Eric oversees information technology and telecommunications across Valley Health System, which includes The Valley Hospital, Valley Home Care, and Valley Medical Group. Eric and his teams were deeply involved with the design of The Valley Hospital, which opened at its new location in Paramus, New Jersey, in April 2024. The hospital is a “smart hospital” featuring the latest technology and artificial intelligence.
“I am honored to be recognized by NJBIZ alongside other leaders in the healthcare community,” said Eric. “I look forward to continuing to maintain high-quality service using the latest technological advances for Valley Health System.”
Eric began his career at Valley in 1994 as the Manager of Application Development, was later promoted to Director of Information Systems, then Assistant Vice President, and ultimately became Vice President and CIO in 2010.
“Eric’s dedication to creating seamless experiences for our patients, their loved ones, and staff has positioned Valley at the forefront of technological innovation,” said Robert Brenner, MD, MMM, FACHE, President and CEO of Valley Health System. “Valley will continue to evaluate and implement technologies that allow us to enhance operations and the delivery of patient care.”
According to NJBIZ, the power lists are compiled by editorial staff based on reporting throughout the past year, input from experts in a variety of fields, and recommendations from readers. NJBIZ says honorees are selected for their meaningful contributions to making New Jersey a better place to live, work, and do business through their efforts.
