DARLINGTON COUNTY PARK SPLASH ZONE TO REOPEN FRIDAY

Upper Lake and Recreation Areas Reopen Splash Zone Tickets Now Available for Purchase
MAHWAH, NJ –  The Bergen County Parks Department announces that the Wibit Splash Zone at the upper lake at Darlington County Park will reopen on Friday, August 15. The popular Wibit Splash Zone attraction at Darlington Lake is the largest Wibit water obstacle course of its kind on the East Coast.

While the Wibit Splash Zone at Darlington County Park will resume daily operations from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., swimming in the main lower lake will remain temporarily closed for further testing.

Guests must pre-register for the Wibit Splash Zone timeslots on Eventbrite. Only guests who pre-purchase Wibit Splash Zone tickets will be permitted to enter Darlington County Park.

The Bergen County Parks Department continues working diligently to treat the lower lake as quickly and safely as possible. We know how much families look forward to summer days at Darlington, and we appreciate the public’s continued patience and understanding as we work toward a full reopening.

Darlington County Park is comprised of 178 acres nestled at the foothills of the Ramapo Mountains in Mahwah. The park features three lakes, white sand beaches, a wooded picnic area, open lawns, basketball courts, and a bird and wildlife observation. It is prized as one of the crown jewels within the Bergen County Parks System, which spans nearly 10,000 acres, including a nationally accredited zoo, six golf courses, 21 parks, two horseback riding areas, an environmental center, and nine historic sites.
