“New York’s largest travel show is back for its fifth year, and we’re gearing up for our biggest turnout yet,” said John Golicz, CEO of the Travel & Adventure Show Series. “Attendance has climbed year after year, and this time we’re bringing more than 600 exhibitors to New York—including new destinations, airlines, cruise lines, tour operators and more. And with many exhibitors offering exclusive, show-floor-only pricing, the New York Travel & Adventure Show has truly become the go-to event for travelers looking for real value and affordable adventures.”
This year’s show is shaping up to be New York’s largest travel gathering yet, with an expansive lineup of exhibitors from around the world. Cathay Pacific will host a major pavilion as the airline celebrates its 80th anniversary in 2026, showcasing new route launches and offering attendees the chance to learn about upcoming destinations—and even win exciting giveaways. With America’s 250th anniversary just around the corner, travelers can also look forward to hearing from top domestic destinations unveiling special events and new experiences for the milestone year. Must-visit exhibitors include Vermont Department of Tourism, , Visit North Carolina, Maine Tourism, Visit Williamsburg, and many others.
For travelers eager to feel the electrifying atmosphere of the World Cup in Mexico City, the Mexican Caribbean booth is a must-visit. Attendees can uncover the best ways to experience the matches, explore the city like a local, and discover inspiring ideas for extending their trip with a relaxing getaway to one of Mexico’s iconic beach destinations. If soccer—or shall we say football—isn’t your sport, head over to the Consulate General of India booth to dive into the excitement of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, the premier global cricket tournament co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka in 2026. With interest in cricket surging in the U.S., fueled in part by the rise of Major League Cricket, there’s no better place to witness the energy and passion of the sport than in India.
January also happens to be the ideal time to pencil in a last-minute beach getaway. Show attendees are invited to experience the Caribbean Tourism Organization’s pavilion where over a dozen different island destinations will showcase unique experiences awaiting travelers across the Caribbean. For something a little closer to home, the Northwest Florida Beaches will be exhibiting and sharing details about some of its most well-known destinations including Panama City, Destin and 30A corridor, a 24-mile scenic route known for charming seaside towns such as Rosemary Beach and Grayton Beach.
One of the hottest deals on past show floors has been safari packages, and bucket-list travel continues to soar in popularity. A safari remains a must-do experience for travelers seeking adventure, and the New York Travel & Adventure Show offers an incredible variety of destinations and tour operators to make it happen. At the South African Tourism booth, visitors can discover the thrill of spotting the Big Five in Kruger National Park, while the Go Touch Down Travel & Tours booth shows how to combine a safari with a visit to one of Africa’s most breathtaking natural wonders, Victoria Falls.
The Tri-state area offers more flights to Europe than any other U.S. city and January is the perfect time to start planning that summer vacation to the Mediterranean. One of the main exhibitors this year is Montenegro, a destination regarded for its friendliness to visitors and unforgettable scenery. Lesser visited and small town destinations continue to be a top choice for U.S. travelers. In the Europe section of the show, you can find inspiration for a number of destinations including the Amalfi Coast, the Azores and Greek Island destinations such as Mykonos and Santorini.
This year’s event sponsors include Cathay Pacific, Northwest Florida Beaches, Taiwan, Legendary Coast Newfoundland Canada, Mexican Caribbean, Consulate General of India, Maine Tourism, Choctaw Nation, Celebrity Cruises, Go Touch Down, South African Tourism, Caribbean Tourism Organization, and Montenegro.
