Valley Appoints Tamar Zapolanski, MD, as Director of Dermatology for Valley Medical Group
PARAMUS, NJ, February 18, 2026 – Valley Medical Group is proud to announce the appointment of Tamar Zapolanski, MD, as Director of Dermatology.
[media:20260222062051290 Tamar Zapolanski, MD]Dr. Zapolanski is a board-certified dermatologist with a focus on general medical and surgical dermatology. She specializes in inflammatory skin conditions, skin cancer screening and treatment, acne, rosacea, eczema, skin rashes and infections, and treatment of benign growths.
Dr. Zapolanski strives to build lasting relationships with her patients and their families to provide patient-centered, high-quality dermatologic care. She considers a positive patient experience to be an essential component of a successful treatment plan.
As director, Dr. Zapolanski will provide clinical and strategic leadership for the dermatology service line, with a focus on optimizing access and driving continued program growth across Valley Medical Group and Valley Health System.

Dr. Zapolanski attended the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where she graduated magna cum laude with a major in neuroscience. She received her medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in Miami, Florida. She went on to complete her dermatology residency at Weill Cornell Medicine in New York City, where she served as the Chief Resident of the residency program during her final year.
Additionally, she was awarded the Distinguished Housestaff Award for all-around excellence. Dr. Zapolanski is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.
