“Soggy Service Above Self”
PARAMUS, NJ — Braving a torrential downpour on Sunday, September 13, Paramus Rotarians and intrepid local residents collected an impressive 2,077 pounds of donated clothing, keeping more than a ton of clothing out of landfills and putting it to good use.
Because flooding and road closures prevented many residents from reaching the drive, the Paramus Public Library has come to the rescue. Clothing donations will now be accepted at the Library’s main branch from Wednesday, September 16, through Wednesday, September 30, during regular business hours.
