(FORT LEE, N.J.- September 30, 2026) LEFKES IS BACK. Lefkes at The Modern (formerly Ventanas) will celebrate its grand opening on Friday, Oct. 9, at 200 Park Avenue in Fort Lee, bringing one of the most recognizable names in Greek dining to an elegant, newly reimagined space.
Led by owner Georgia Dumas alongside and new co-owner Alexander Duran, Lefkes at The Modern transforms the former Ventanas into a bright Mediterranean escape, with white accents, new murals, lighting, furniture and decorative details throughout.
Lefkes is an internationally known brand, with three restaurants in Greece, in Athens and Santorini, bringing the spirit of the Greek islands to every table. Guests travel from across the country and around the world to experience Lefkes.
Guests can look forward to the same beloved menu that made Lefkes a favorite: delicious cuisine, which is Greek at heart with a modern twist, alongside a spectacular array of signature sushi, all delivered with the outstanding service Lefkes is known for.
As the evening goes on, dinner gives way to Lefkes’ signature after-dark parties, with top DJs and entertainment bringing the energy of Mykonos to Fort Lee. Wine dinners, special programming and an elegant private event space for corporate and family gatherings complete the experience.

The transition also marks the end of an important chapter for Ventanas.
Since opening in Fort Lee, Ventanas has been the backdrop for countless dinners, celebrations, parties and milestones. While the name and concept are changing, much of the team, hospitality and energy behind the restaurant will carry forward into Lefkes.
