Youth Consultation Service Names Jim Gibney to Board of Trustees
WEST ORANGE, N.J. (October 20, 2026) – Youth Consultation Service (YCS), a leading nonprofit behavioral health and social services agency in New Jersey, announces Jim Gibney as the newest member of its Board of Trustees.
YCS's Board of Trustees provides strategic guidance and governance to help shape the organization's direction and advance its mission of building happier, healthier, more hopeful lives for the children, adults and families it serves.
Gibney brings more than three decades of experience in corporate compliance, ethics and leadership to the YCS Board of Trustees. He currently serves as Vice President, Corporate Compliance, Global Compliance Operations, at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals Inc., where he leads a global team responsible for supporting the company's compliance program, including policies, training and ethics-focused communications. Prior to joining Regeneron in 2011, he spent nearly two decades with Pfizer, holding leadership roles across commercial operations and corporate compliance.
"Jim's leadership and perspective will be a valuable addition to the YCS Board of Trustees," said Tara Augustine, President and CEO of YCS. "His thoughtful approach to organizational culture and leadership, combined with his commitment to our mission, will help guide YCS as we continue to strengthen our services and respond to the evolving needs of the children, adults and families we serve."
Gibney's connection to YCS began years ago through his volunteer work with the organization's Annual Holiday Gift Drive, where he saw firsthand the impact that community support can have on children and families. His commitment to service extends beyond YCS, including nine years in the United States Naval Reserve and service as a volunteer Emergency Medical Technician with the Ridgewood, NJ Volunteer Ambulance Unit.
"I am honored to support YCS's mission in a new way as a trustee," said Gibney. "For more than a century, YCS has provided critical support and opportunities to children, adults and families with complex needs throughout New Jersey. I look forward to working alongside my fellow trustees and YCS leadership to help strengthen that work and its impact in the communities it serves."
Gibney is a graduate of Rutgers University and resides in Ridgewood, N.J.
