Forbes Names St. Joseph’s Health as a Top Employer
Recognition was Given on Two of Forbes’ “America’s Best Employers” Lists
Paterson, NJ, October 21, 2026 – St. Joseph’s Health has been named one of the top employers in New Jersey and one of America’s best employers for healthcare professionals on the “America’s Best Employers By State” and “America’s Best Employers for Healthcare Professionals” lists for 2026, published by Forbes.

To create these lists, Forbes partnered with market research firm Statista to survey current and former employees, who were asked various questions about St. Joseph's, ranging from culture to compensation. Responses were analyzed and incorporated into a scoring system.

With more than 5,000 employees and 1,000 physicians, St. Joseph’s Health was one of 1,365 employers across the country and 90 in New Jersey in a range of industries that made the “Best Employers by State” list and one of only 250 to make the “Best Employers for Healthcare Professionals” list. St. Joseph’s Health is the largest employer in Passaic County and also has been named one of America’s Greatest Workplaces in Healthcare by Newsweek.
