Gift-Wrapping at Paramus Park Mall to Benefit Domestic Violence Victims and Survivors
Proceeds directly benefit victims of domestic violence
Paramus, NJ. (December 6, 2024) – Now through December 24, 2024, Center for Hope & Safety, formerly known as Shelter Our Sisters, a nonprofit organization committed to helping adults and children in Bergen County rebuild their lives from domestic violence, will operate a gift-wrapping station at Paramus Park Mall.
Shoppers can have their holiday gifts wrapped by Center for Hope & Safety volunteers and can make donations of their choosing with all proceeds benefiting Center for Hope & Safety’s clients, programs and services. Gifts do not have to be purchased at Paramus Park to be eligible for wrapping.
Shoppers interested in having their gifts wrapped and/or donating to support Center for Hope and Safety can visit the gift-wrapping stand outside of the Swarovski store on Level 1, near the East Entrance by Macy’s. The gift-wrapping station will be open Monday through Saturday during all mall hours from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM (until 8:00 PM on Thursdays) and from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Christmas Eve.
The annual event aims to raise awareness about domestic violence while raising funds to support Center for Hope & Safety’s essential programs and services including safe housing, escape planning, financial workshops, career assistance, free legal services and a free, confidential hotline that answers more than 8,000 calls a year and operates 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
