Bergen Family Center Appoints Aaron Daly as Chief Executive Officer

(Englewood, NJ – January 29, 2026) - Bergen Family Center (BFC) has appointed Aaron A. Daly as its new Chief Executive Officer, following a nationwide search that attracted nearly 150 candidates.

Daly brings more than 15 years of senior leadership experience across education and human services organizations. Most recently, he served as Chief Executive Officer of Beanstalk Academy in the Bronx, where he led a significant organizational turnaround.

During his tenure, Daly increased enrollment and attendance, improved staff retention, and restored more than $23 million in public funding, strengthening Beanstalk’s program delivery and long-term financial stability.

“I’ve always admired the work Bergen Family Center does for children, families, and seniors in this community,” Daly said. “I’m excited to join the organization and work alongside such a dedicated staff. One of our primary goals is to expand access to services, reach more families who need support, and continue to grow in ways that make a real difference.”

Earlier in his career, Daly held senior leadership roles at Beanstalk Academy and Brooklyn Laboratory Charter Schools, where he managed complex, multi-site operations. He was also Assistant Director of Programs at the Harlem Children’s Zone, Inc.  Aaron holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Long Island University.

“We spoke with outstanding candidates from across the country,” said Harry Martin, BFC Board Chair. “Aaron stood out not just for his leadership skills, but for how his personal values align with Bergen Family Center’s mission and its 127-year history. He has what it takes to lead an organization that’s been part of this community for generations.”

Daly lives in Demarest, New Jersey, with his wife and their three daughters.
