BERGEN COUNTY ANNOUCES RETURN OF SUMMER MOVIES & CONCERTS IN THE PARK
Four County Parks to host free movies and concerts this summer beginning on July 7
HACKENSACK, N.J. – Bergen County Executive James Tedesco III, the Board of Commissioners, and the Bergen County Parks Department are excited to announce the return of the beloved Movies & Music in the Park 2026 summer series!
This annual tradition will once again feature 25 different film screenings and concert performances across four county parks that are not only exciting, but also completely free! Bergen County is inviting all residents to come out to enjoy a relaxed and welcoming outing under the summer night skies to enjoy some music and movies.
“Movies & Music in the Park has always been one of our favorite seasonal traditions, and we are thrilled for this year’s summer lineup,” said Bergen County Executive, Jim Tedesco. “We know so many are excited for this year’s schedule, so we hope you can make it and enjoy a free, relaxing night out with your family and friends.”
Those attending are encouraging to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and snacks to get the most out of this experience. This summer schedule features some of the latest blockbuster hits, and bands that are sure to get crowds on their feet.
There will be 11 film screenings at Van Saun County Park, 3 film screenings at Pascack Brook County Park, 5 concerts at the Overpeck County Park Amphitheater, and 6 concerts at The Stage at Riverside County Park.
“Movies & Music in the Park is a perfect example of how our county parks bring people together and create opportunities for families, friends, and neighbors to connect,” said Commissioner Chairman Steve Tanelli. “From blockbuster movies to outstanding live performances, this free summer series offers something for everyone and highlights the vibrant community spirit that makes Bergen County such a great place to live, work, and raise a family.”
