MILITARY PERSONNEL RIDE FREE ON NY WATERWAY FERRIES FOR JULY 4TH WEEKEND

Weehawken, NJ (July 2, 2026) -- This July 4th weekend, NY Waterway is offering free ferry service to military personnel from July 3, 2026, through July 5, 2026. Military members must either present valid military ID or be traveling in uniform.

The offer is valid on all NY Waterway ferry routes, excluding the Metro North Haverstraw–Ossining route. During the Fourth of July holiday, NY Waterway will operate modified schedules from Thursday, July 2 through Monday, July 6. Normal weekday service will resume on Tuesday, July 7.
