“While many Girl Scouts participated in activities virtually or in socially distant small-group settings throughout the pandemic, others had to pause—and we understand why. Now is the time, however, to ‘press play’ and resume their Girl Scout journey. The fall season is one of the best times to join Girl Scouts, helping girls make new friends and stay active and engaged in their communities while they acclimate to a new school year,” said Betty Garger, President and CEO of Girl Scouts of Northern New Jersey. “With 28 new badges and new Girl Scout programming, girls who enroll now can truly experience all Girl Scouts has to offer while preparing them for a lifetime of leadership, adventure and success.”
Girl Scouts that register between Saturday, September 25 and the end of business on Monday, September 27 will be entered into a raffle for chance to win one of four prize baskets which include a STEM ice cream ball and other items. Additionally, the first 20 individuals that register and complete the requirements to become a Girl Scout leader at the Press Play events will receive a $20 Girl Scouts of Northern New Jersey council shops gift card.
