BERGEN/PASSAIC COUNTIES, September, 2025—OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD Volunteers from Bergen/Passaic Counties will host a PANCAKE FUNDRAISER BREAKFAST to kick off collection season—with a goal of packing more than 17,000 shoeboxes with fun toys, school supplies and personal care items.

Exhibition Puts Professor’s “Personal Effects” on View


PARAMUS, N.J. – “Personal Effects: Works by Gregg Biermann,” an exhibition featuring large-scale video installations and still images by a Bergen Community College faculty member, will open on Thursday, September 18 at 6 p.m. in Gallery Bergen, the College’s art exhibition space located at the institution’s main campus (400 Paramus Road, Paramus). The exhibition is hosted in collaboration with the Barrymore Film Center in Fort Lee.

Garden State Plaza 9.11 Remembrance Event


Wesley Rebisz, senior general manager of Westfield Garden State Plaza, was joined by Chief Robert Guidetti of the Paramus Police Department, Chief Steve Shallop, President of the Bergen County Chiefs Association, and law enforcement from neighboring Bergen County communities to pay tribute to the 750 New Jersey residents who perished that day and honor all the local first responders, volunteers and rescue and recovery workers who rose in service in the days and weeks that followed 9/11.
