The Valley Hospital Introduces Laborist Program


RIDGEWOOD, NJ, February 8, 2024 – The Valley Hospital is pleased to announce a laborist program, designed to enhance the care and comfort of women who are in labor. Five independent Valley Medical Group physicians will provide care through the laborist program, assisting Valley’s obstetrician team with the care of patients on the hospital’s labor and delivery (L&D) unit and providing comprehensive support for the L&D team.

Technology Partner Donates $25,000 to Bergen


PARAMUS, N.J – Bergen Community College’s technology solutions partner, Ellucian and its charitable foundation, have awarded the institution a $25,000 block grant to support 50 currently enrolled students’ basic needs such as tuition, housing expenses and textbooks. Accepted through the 501(c)(3) Bergen Community College Foundation, Ellucian awarded the $400,000 Progress, Accomplishment, Thriving, Hope (PATH) Scholarship to 25 college partners such as Bergen.
