NJ Sharing Network Recognized as a Best Place to Work in New Jersey for the Fifth Consecutive Year

(New Providence, NJ) – NJ Sharing Network, the non-profit, federally designated organ procurement organization responsible for the recovery of organs and tissue in the Garden State, is proud to announce it has been named as one of Best Places to Work in New Jersey 2022 by leading business publication, NJBIZ, for the fifth consecutive year.

NJ Sharing Network earned the Best Places to Work in New Jersey 2022 distinction following a comprehensive employee survey that asked what makes the company an ideal workplace, including questions about connection to the organization’s mission, culture, and wellness programs. NJBIZ collected the data confidentially to allow employees to share candid feedback.

“It is an honor to be recognized, once again, on the Best Places to Work in New Jersey list by NJBIZ. Our work can be extremely challenging, so every day we work together as a tightly knit team to save and enhance lives. With that comes mutual respect, camaraderie and personal and professional rewards. I applaud our team for living our core values every day – dedicated, eager, compassionate, resourceful and team-focused,” said Joseph S. Roth, President and CEO of NJ Sharing Network.

NJ Sharing Network, currently celebrating its 35th anniversary, was recognized in the “Medium Companies” category (50 to 249 employees) alongside other prominent organizations across varied industries. According to United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS), there are over 100,000 Americans – nearly 4,000 of whom live in New Jersey – waiting for a life-saving transplant. However, the generosity of those in the Garden State and NJ Sharing Network’s team of 209 employees is providing hope for the future, according to Roth. There are now more than 2.7 million New Jerseyans registered as organ and tissue donors. That ranks New Jersey as #5 in the nation on the National Donor Registry! In 2021, the number of organ donors in a single year reached an all-time high for the third year in a row in New Jersey as 233 donor heroes gave the gift of life to others.
