Girl Scouts of Northern New Jersey Announces Girl Scout Rally and Launch of Daisy and Brownie Fall Adventure Series


Rally attendees will have an opportunity to enroll in Girl Scouts and participate in a Fall Adventure Series

Riverdale, N.J. – October 12, 2022 – Girl Scouts of Northern New Jersey (GSNNJ), the preeminent leadership development organization for girls in Bergen, Passaic, Morris, Sussex and northern Warren counties, announces they will be hosting a Girl Scout Rally for new and current Girl Scouts on October 15, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at their Riverdale Service Center (95 Newark Pompton Tpke, Riverdale, N.J.) to kick off the fall membership season. At the rally, girls in grades K-3 can join Girl Scouts, as well as sign up for a Daisy and Brownie Fall Adventure series that will help them jump start their Girl Scout journey.

The Girl Scout Rally will provide girls with an exciting opportunity to learn about Girl Scouts from current members and sample the Girl Scout Leadership Experience. Featuring music, S’mores, lava lamp and slime making, and giveaways, attendees will experience three hours of unforgettable fun, enjoy new activities, and make new friends. During the event, girls can also visit the Council Shop to check out new Girl Scout merchandise.

Girl Scouts of Northern New Jersey’s Daisy and Brownie Fall Adventure series is the perfect opportunity for girls in grades K-3 to join Girl Scouts and get started on their Girl Scout journey with ease, as they  become part of a starter troop, attend weekly virtual troop meetings, and more. The series will kick off with a fun in-person Family Adventure Day at Lake Rickabear Camp on Saturday, November 5, 2022, from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m.  where girls will enjoy a scavenger hunt, pumpkin decorating, slime making, campfire whirl and twirl, cupcake decorating, and S’mores. At the event, girls will also receive a Girl Scout Activity Box for use during the weekly virtual Fall Adventure sessions, which will take place every Wednesday from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. from November 9-30.
