Valley Medical Group Assistant Vice President of Quality/Performance Improvement and Clinical Operations Recognized by ONL NJ

RIDGEWOOD, NJ, December 5, 2022 – Valley Health System congratulates Joshua Gregoire, MS, MPH, RN, LSSBB, NEA-BC, Assistant Vice President of Quality/Performance Improvement and Clinical Operations for Valley Medical Group, on receiving the 2022 Innovation in the Continuum of Care Award from the Organization of Nurse Leaders of NJ (ONL NJ).

According to ONL NJ, this award is given to a nurse leader who has implemented a project that has a significant impact outside of the acute care setting.

“As a direct result of his leadership, Joshua was able to create a vaccination program during the COVID-19 pandemic, which has vaccinated greater than 200,000 patients in our community,” said Charles Vannoy, DNP, MBA, RN, FACHE, NEA-BC, HN-BC, Vice President of Patient Care Services and Chief Nursing Officer of The Valley Hospital. “During this time, he also launched a telemedicine program, and implemented an initiative that assisted providers with documenting to the highest level of specificity for value-based risk adjustments.”

Continued Vannoy: “To address quality care gaps and ensure appropriate blood work, testing, and referral management for more than 9,000 Valley Medical Group patients with diabetes, Joshua also proposed the creation of a Center for Diabetes Management. The true impact of the Diabetes Center will be related to the ability to close multiple care gaps to enhance the patient experience, improve clinical outcomes, and achieve success with quality and cost in value-based arrangements.”

Gregoire and other OLN NJ award recipients were recognized on December 2 at Forsgate Country Club in Monroe Township, NJ.
