Popular Open-Air Event to Kick Off Active Year of Festivals and Markets in Public Plaza
Jersey City, NJ April 16, 2024 – Magnolia Landing, the vibrant public plaza constructed by KRE Group next to Journal Square PATH Station and the developer’s iconic Journal Squared residential towers, is poised to become the epicenter of community life in the historic neighborhood with an exciting lineup of events planned for 2024.

Kicking off the festivities is the eagerly anticipated Jersey City Night Market on April 20th, from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. For the first time ever, the Jersey City Night Market, known for its celebration of Jersey City's diverse culture and local businesses, will bring its electrifying atmosphere to Journal Square, with events taking place every third Saturday. Attendees can anticipate an evening filled with exploration as they discover offerings from local artisans and makers, savor culinary delights from beloved food trucks, and groove to the beats of live musical performances, all in a family-friendly, pet-friendly setting.

In addition to the Jersey City Night Market, Magnolia Landing will play host to a variety of other exciting events throughout the year. Riverview Jazz will set the stage for a lively block party on May 23rd, featuring live music from Craig Handy and 2nd Line Smith, and The Brooklyners, along with tantalizing food trucks. And starting May 28th and running through Nov. 19th, the Journal Square Green Market will operate from Magnolia Landing every Tuesday from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m., offering fresh produce and local goods. 

The dynamic programming, made possible by the vision of KRE Group, highlights Magnolia Landing’s emergence as the pulse of community engagement, a vibrant public square where residents and visitors can gather to celebrate Jersey City's unique culture and commerce.

Admission to these exciting events is free, providing an ideal opportunity for residents and visitors alike to immerse themselves in the local community and show support for small businesses.
