Valley Medical Group Announces Promotion of Michael Rahmin, MD, to Director of Gastroenterology

PARAMUS, NJ, August 15, 2024 – Valley Medical Group is pleased to announce the promotion of Michael Rahmin, MD, to the position of Director of Gastroenterology for Valley Medical Group.

In his new role, Dr. Rahmin will support the operations of gastroenterology care offered through Valley Medical Group. He will oversee and guide the strategic direction of the gastroenterology division ensuring adherence to evidence-based practice and implementation of best practices in clinical quality and safety. Dr. Rahmin will leverage his clinical and operational experience to enhance and grow gastroenterology services at Valley.

Dr. Rahmin received his medical degree from New York University School of Medicine. He completed his residency in internal medicine at the Mount Sinai Hospital after which he pursued a fellowship in gastroenterology at the New York Hospital - Cornell Medical College, followed by additional fellowship in hepatology at the Mount Sinai Hospital. He obtained a Master of Business Administration degree at the Isenberg School of Business at UMass, with a focus on healthcare management.
