KIDS RIDE FREE ON NY WATERWAY FERRIES THIS HOLIDAY SEASON
A Holiday Gift from your friends at NY WaterwayNY Waterway has announced that this holiday season, kids will be able to ride free on all NY Waterway ferry routes between New Jersey and Manhattan beginning Friday, November 29 through Wednesday, January 1. A maximum of two children, under the age of 12, will be permitted to ride when accompanied by one, single paying adult rider.
The ferry is a family-friendly, traffic-free way to enjoy the best of Manhattan’s holiday festivities, from the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree to shows on Broadway to skating in Central Park. This special promotion is NY Waterway’s gift to families hoping to take in all the city has to offer this holiday season.
“This is a special time of year for families, and we hope that our Kids Ride Free initiative will make it easier for them to take advantage of New York City’s incredible array of festive sights and holiday activities,” said Armand Pohan, Chairman, President and CEO of NY Waterway. “Taking the ferry into and out of the city during this busy season is a safe, reliable and much more relaxing way to travel with your family.”
Ferry service operates seven days a week and NY Waterway operates free shuttles from its Midtown terminal to many holiday attraction areas. New Jersey ferry terminals offer low-cost parking or free parking. Riders can also reach many NY Waterway terminals by the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail Line, NJ TRANSIT and free NY Waterway buses.
Kids Ride Free on NY Waterway Ferries Effective Friday, November 29:
Kids under 12 can ride on NY Waterway’s ferries for free on all routes between New Jersey & Manhattan beginning Friday, Nov 29th 2024 through Wednesday, January 1st 2025.
