SERVICE ADVISORY: NY WATERWAY’S CHRISTMAS WEEK HOLIDAY SCHEDULE (KIDS RIDE FREE)

NY Waterway will operate modified schedules during the last two weeks of December, beginning on Monday, December 23 through Monday, December 30. Also, kids ride the ferry free for the holidays through New Year’s Day.

Monday, December 23 Service:

Haverstraw-Ossining:

The 6:52 a.m. ferry will not operate.

The 7:08 a.m. ferry will operate connecting to the 7:30 a.m. local train at Ossining station or the 7:36 a.m. semi-express train at Ossining station to Grand Central.

First ferries will depart Haverstraw at 5:47am and last ferries will depart Ossining at 9:42pm

Newburgh-Beacon:

The 7:04 a.m. ferry will not operate.

The 7:11 a.m. ferry will operate connecting to the 7:28 a.m. train at Beacon station to Grand Central.

First ferries will depart Newburgh at 5:32am and last ferries will depart Beacon at 8:47pm

South Amboy-Midtown/W39th St:

Ferries will depart South Amboy to Midtown at 6:45am and 8:45am.

Ferries will depart Midtown to South Amboy at 3:15pm and 5:15pm

Tuesday, December 24 Service:

Haverstraw-Ossining:

The 6:52 a.m. ferry will not operate.

The 7:08 a.m. ferry will operate connecting to the 7:30 a.m. local train at Ossining station or the 7:36 a.m. semi-express train at Ossining station to Grand Central.

First ferries will depart Haverstraw at 5:47am and last ferries will depart Ossining at 9:42pm

South Amboy-Midtown/W39th St:

Ferries will depart South Amboy to Midtown at 6:45am and 8:45am.

Ferries will depart Midtown to South Amboy at 2:15pm and 4:15pm.

Edgewater to Midtown/W.39th St:

First ferries will depart Edgewater at 6:45am and last ferries will depart Midtown at 5:10pm.

Edgewater to Pier 11/Wall St & Battery Park:

First ferries will depart Edgewater at 6:45am and last ferries will depart Pier 11 at 4:45pm.

Weehawken/Port Imperial & Hoboken/14 to Midtown/W. 39th St:

Ferries will depart every 20 minutes, with first ferries leaving Weehawken at 6am and last ferries leaving Midtown at 6:50pm.

Weehawken/Port Imperial & Hoboken/14 to Pier 11/Wall St  & Battery Park:

First ferries will depart Weehawken at 6:55am and last ferries will depart Pier 11 at 5:45pm.

Lincoln Harbor & Hoboken/14 to Midtown/W 39th:

Ferries will depart every 20 minutes, with first ferries leaving Lincoln Harbor at 6:58am and last ferries leaving Midtown at 5:50pm.

Hoboken/NJT to Pier 11/Wall St & Battery Park:

First ferries will depart Hoboken/NJT at 6:20am and last ferries will depart Pier 11 at 5:10pm and Battery Park at 5:50pm.

Hoboken/NJT to Paulus Hook & Midtown/W 39th:

First ferries will depart Hoboken/NJT at 7:00am and Paulus Hook at 6:45 and last ferries will depart Midtown at 5:10pm.

Liberty Harbor & Paulus Hook to Pier 11/Wall St:

First ferries will depart Liberty Harbor at 6:30am and Paulus Hook at 6:45 and last ferries will depart Pier 11 at 5:30pm.

Port Liberté to Pier 11/Wall St.

First ferries will depart Port Liberté at 6:40am and last ferries will depart Pier 11 at 5:20pm.

Bus services will operate between the hours of 6:10am and 6:50pm.

NJ Shuttle Intra-site will operate between 5:30am-9:30am and 3:00pm-7:00pm.

No NJ Shuttle Blvd East service will operate.

Wednesday, December 25 Service:

No ferry services will operate.

No bus services will operate.

Thursday, December 26 – Monday, December 30 Service:

Haverstraw-Ossining:

The 6:52 a.m. ferry will not operate.

The 7:08 a.m. ferry will operate connecting to the 7:30 a.m. local train at Ossining station or the 7:36 a.m. semi-express train at Ossining station to Grand Central.

The Paulus Hook to Brookfield Place ferry will operate on a 15-minute schedule, with first ferries leaving Paulus Hook at 6:00am and last ferries leaving Brookfield Place at 10:52pm

IKEA Ferry Service:

First ferries will depart Midtown at 10:30am and last ferries will depart IKEA at 5:05pm

Kids Ride Free for the Holidays will continue through Wednesday, January 1, 2025. Kids under 12 can ride on NY Waterway’s ferries for free on all routes. The ticketing policy for the free service is: two children are permitted to ride free per each paying adult rider.
