THE LAKES AT DARLINGTON COUNTY PARK OPEN FOR MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND

MAHWAH, N.J. – County Executive Jim Tedesco, the Board of Commissioners, and the County Parks Department are pleased to announce that beginning Saturday, May 24 at 10 a.m., the Lakes at Darlington County Park will reopen for swimming. Additionally, the upper lake, featuring the Wibit Splash Zone water obstacle course, will welcome all residents over 39 inches tall for an extra fee.

“After record-breaking attendance last year, Darlington County Park has truly established itself as Bergen County’s summertime gem,” said Bergen County Executive Jim Tedesco. “We are excited to welcome residents and visitors alike back to Darlington for the season to enjoy its 124 acres, swimming lakes, and our most popular attraction, the Wibit Splash Zone. I encourage everyone to take advantage of all the affordable, family-friendly fun our Parks System has to offer. Here’s to another incredible summer in Bergen County!”

The swimming lakes at Darlington County Park will only be open on weekends from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Sunday, June 22. The lake will then be open daily starting Monday, June 23 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Labor Day, September 1.

This season, Darlington County Park and the Wibit Splash Zone at Darlington Lake will accept cash payments as well as all major credit cards.
