Bridgeway Behavioral Health Services Awarded $21,000 Grant from Union County Department of Human Services

Union, N.J. (July 21, 2025) – Bridgeway Behavioral Health Services (Bridgeway), a community-based provider supporting individuals and families facing complex mental health challenges, has been awarded a $21,000 Social Services for the Homeless (SSH) grant from the Union County Department of Human Services’ Division of Individual and Family Support Services.
The SSH grant will bolster Bridgeway’s Homeless Outreach and Supportive Housing Programs, which provide comprehensive, person-centered services to help individuals with complex behavioral health needs secure stable housing and live independently. The funding will be used to provide case management services, cover security deposits, and place individuals in temporary shelters while permanent housing is arranged.
“Stable housing is a critical foundation for long-term recovery and overall well-being,” said Nancy Schneeloch, Vice President of Supportive Housing, Homeless Outreach and Justice-Involved Services at Bridgeway. “This funding enables us to support our neighbors facing complex mental health challenges and housing instability, helping them transition from homelessness to permanent housing. We’re grateful for Union County’s continued support and remain committed to helping more individuals find stability, recovery, and a place to call home.”
