The Nostalgia of Christmas Is on Full Display at Down to Earth Living

Open House November 8 and 9 with Santa

ROCKLAND/BERGEN – October 29, 2025 — The elves at Down to Earth Living are already hard at work decorating for Christmas. For many, Christmas is a time to reflect on simple pleasures like roasting marshmallows, drinking hot apple cider and wrapping gifts for friends and family. Down to Earth Living intends to provide those nostalgic vibes this year in its 10,000 square foot showroom.

The staff at Down to Earth will host their popular Holiday Open House on Saturday, November 8th and Sunday, November 9th from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. The event will feature a festive atmosphere with wine and cheese for adults and free goody bags for the children. Santa will be on site from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM and visits are always free. Santa will return November 28 and 29, December 6 and 7, December 13 and 14, and December 20 and 21.

As an added bonus this year, Down to Earth will give away one $50 gift certificate every hour from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM during the open house. Attendees can enter the giveaway for free by signing up at the register.

Each Christmas Down to Earth Living transforms its showroom, located at 1040 Route 45 in Pomona, New York into a winter wonderland complete with life-like Santas, the latest and most technologically advanced artificial pre-lit Christmas trees, friendly life-size reindeer, hundreds of exclusive ornaments including collectibles like Mark Roberts, adorable holiday gnomes, and a bevy of furry animals waiting to be discovered among the tree branches and displays.

Down to Earth will offer last year’s pricing on the pre-lit trees by absorbing some of the increased tariff costs so that trees remain 20% off for 2025.  In addition to the widest selection of pre-lit Christmas trees, Down to Earth Living is known for offering the area’s highest quality live Frasier fir Christmas trees guaranteed to stay fresh and hold their needles through Christmas Day, so families can enjoy the magic of the season from start to finish whether they choose a live tree or pre-lit version.

“The only place you will find a more festive experience is on Fifth Avenue during the holidays! We create holiday themed vignettes throughout the showroom and feature some of the finest and most unique holiday decorations anywhere in the tri-state,” states Stuart Leventhal, owner of Down to Earth Living. “Our goal is to have everyone leave here filled with the wonder and magic that Christmas brings each year,” he added.

Down to Earth Living, located on 12.5 acres in Pomona, attracts customers from Rockland, Bergen, Orange, Westchester and even Fairfield County Connecticut with its gracious outdoor living furnishings and beautiful home decor. Down to Earth Living is open 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM daily. Beginning November 19, the hours will be expanded to 7:00 PM daily. More details at www.dteliving.com.
