Stop & Shop to Hold One-Day Career Fair across 57 New Jersey Stores

On-the-Spot Interviews Available for All Store Roles, Shifts, and Departments

Quincy, MA (September 23, 2023) – Fifty-seven of Stop & Shop’s New Jersey stores will host a one-day, all-store career fair on Saturday, September 23rd from 12:00p.m. – 6:00p.m. Applicants interested in beginning a rewarding career with a thriving company can visit any of the select supermarket’s stores in New Jersey for an on-the-spot interview.

Interviews will be held to fill more than 500 permanent, part-time open e-commerce and store roles, with starting rates of $14.13 an hour, including union positions in the bakery, deli, grocery, seafood, produce, and pharmacy departments. There are also unionized openings on the overnight crew, as well as for cashiers, porters, baggers, home shoppers, and drivers. The one day hiring event will take place at 57 stores across Bergen, Essex, Mercer, Monmonth, Morris, Middlesex, Hudson, Warren, Passiac, Ocean, Sommerset, Sussex, and Union counties.

The open, part-time positions provide up to 28 hours of work each week. Part-time employees receive competitive pay, paid training, flexible schedules, a company discount, paid time off, and career advancement opportunities. Cashiers and baggers must be at least 16 years old; all other positions require applicants to be 18 years of age or older.
