102 Girl Scouts Honored at Girl Scout Silver Award Celebration
On October 8, Girl Scouts of Northern New Jersey (GSNNJ) celebrated the achievements of 345 Girl Scouts from Bergen, Passaic, Morris, Sussex, and northern Warren counties at the Girl Scout Silver Award Celebration. Among these honorees, 102 Girl Scouts who had earned their Girl Scout Silver Awards between April 2022 and August 2023 attended the event with their families.
The Girl Scout Silver Award, the highest honor attainable by Girl Scout Cadettes in grades 6 - 8, tasks Girl Scouts with forming a team, finding an issue in their community they are passionate about, and working together to create a take action project that addresses the issue and leaves a lasting positive impact on the community.
