Law Enforcement Against Drugs and Violence (L.E.A.D.) is having its inaugural 5k Run/Walk in Ridgefield Park on Saturday, October 16, at 9 a.m. Hosted by L.E.A.D., which teaches students about the dangers of drugs and violence, the race, sponsored by Colliers Engineering and Design and Green Team Worldwide Environmental Group, will take place at Overpeck County Park, located on Challenger Road.
Supported by dedicated police officers, L.E.A.D. provides leadership and resources so law enforcement agencies can partner with educators, community leaders and families with the only proven effective anti–drug, anti–violence curriculum for students K-12. L.E.A.D. currently operates in 37 states across the U.S.
