Bergen New Bridge Medical Center Offering Bivalent COVID & Flu Vaccines

Community is urged to make appointments as winter and the holidays approach
(Paramus, NJ) – Paramus, NJ – Bergen New Bridge Medical Center is urging the community to get vaccinated or get boosted to prepare for the holidays and winter months to prevent unnecessary exposure to COVID and the flu.

“It is quick and easy to get vaccinated here at Bergen New Bridge,” said Bergen New Bridge President and CEO, Deborah Visconi. “The community can make appointments through our online vaccine portal, or they can also walk in to receive their COVID and/or flu shots on Wednesdays and Thursdays.”

Bergen New Bridge has the Moderna & Pfizer Bivalent COVID-19 boosters available for ages 12 and up. For those who have not yet received the initial dose of the COVID vaccine, both the Moderna and Pfizer vaccines are also available.  The vaccines are offered on Wednesdays and Thursdays in the Annex at the Medical Center. Adult appointments, age 12 and older, are available from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days with the last walk-in at 2:30 p.m. Children, age six months to 11 years, can make appointments from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., with the last walk-in at 5:30 p.m.

To make an appointment, visit https://www.newbridgehealth.org/health-services/vaccines/.

An insurance card, ID, and original vaccination card should be brought to the appointment. As the federal government has suspended vaccine subsidies, administrative costs are charged according to government guidelines. The Medical Center will submit the charges to insurance which may result in fees. Vaccine recipients without insurance may request financial assistance for these costs or pay out of pocket.
