NJ4S Bergen Bolsters Staff with Appointment of Supervising Prevention Consultant


Paramus, N.J. (October 25, 2023) – NJ4S Bergen, a coalition of leading Bergen County mental health providers led by Children’s Aid and Family Services (CAFS), is pleased to announce the hiring of Amelia Rostant for the role of Supervising Prevention Consultant. Rostant will plan and implement programs in schools and communities and oversee a team of prevention consultants.

With over 20 years of experience in program development, Rostant is well-versed in overseeing the delivery of high quality programs and services to vulnerable populations. Prior to joining NJ4S Bergen, Rostant served as a Youth Development Specialist at Dwight Morrow High School for Bergen Family Center where she developed and facilitated curricula for students centered on equity, leadership, healthy relationships, positive identity development, conflict resolution and more.

Rostant will support the execution of the NJ DCF grant-funded NJ4S program in Bergen County schools and communities with the goal of making prevention and clinical services easily available to over 133,000 students and their families in all 79 of Bergen County’s school districts. Collaborating closely with school districts, Rostant will ensure equitable access to programming among all schools as well as coordinate and schedule programs in schools and communities. Additionally, Rostant will partner with a broad range of local and statewide organizations including  collaborative partners, funding sources, elected officials, community groups, service providers, government offices and other relevant agencies to ensure effective delivery of NJ4S Bergen programs and resources.

Rostant fills one of three Supervising Prevention Consultant roles for which NJ4S Bergen is hiring. In addition to Supervising Prevention Consultants, NJ4S Bergen is looking to hire Licensed Clinicians, Prevention Consultants and Scheduling Coordinators.
